Term 2 2025 Web Design – Wainuiomata

Wainuiomata High School – 60 Parkway, Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt

 

Fridays: 9th May – 27th June (8 weeks)

Time: 3:30pm – 5:00pm. This class is aimed at students in Years 4 – 8, but also open to Year 9 & above. Students are expected to attend the full class (unless by special arrangements with the Matamoe Hub team).

 

Learn to build a website from scratch! Students will explore:

  • Coding in HTML to create the structure of a website
  • Different components of a website such as headers, paragraphs, lists, and images
  • Positioning different elements on a page
  • Using CSS code to style their website with colours, fonts, and more advanced layouts
