Meet the Tutors

 

Leonard

Leonard is working towards a Bachelor of Engineering with honours majoring in Software Engineering at Victoria University. Leonard’s interest in coding began after first being introduced to this digital world during his Year 11 year at school, shortly after first arriving in New Zealand. His new passion inspired him to enter a Python course in Year 12 and continued to grow from there. Leonard is keen to introduce others to the world of coding, using the knowledge he has gained from his studies.

Brianna

Brianna is working towards a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics at Victoria University. Passionate about maths from a young age she picked up programming while at Intermediate School. Since, Brianna has gained experience in a broad range of programming languages, including Java, Python, ChucK, and HTML/CSS, among others. She has also participated in both the New Zealand Programming Contest and the New Zealand Informatics Competition multiple times.

Brianna is also an experienced Kids Church Leader. A role that involves teaching, facilitating games, and engaging the kids in small-group discussion. Brianna really enjoys helping kids to explore new ideas and watching them learn.

Vinnie

Vinnie has been experimenting, building, coding and working with digital tech since he was eight years old and is passionate about sharing this with other young students. In addition to digital tech Vinnie is a keen sportsman coaching floorball and has been nominated for a Sir Peter Blake Leadership Award.

 

 

 

 

William

William is working towards a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Software Engineering at Victoria University. Since growing up in Southeast Asia as a child, William has always held an interest in studying different languages, which grew into a love for coding after attending a local code camp. Since then, he has accumulated experience across a range of programming disciplines and is ready to share his knowledge with the next generation.

Alongside his interest in the digital fields, William has a keen interest in languages, and pursues his own studies in foreign languages and linguistics, as well as reading and writing literature.
